In the Aftermath of the #MeToo Movement:
A workshop for women to process feelings about sexual harassment,
assault and abuse.

This workshop will focus on creating a space in which women can share their experiences and feelings about sex, sexism and sexual violence in their work and personal lives.  We will explore how the #MeToo movement has been affecting us and the men and women around us.  Through discussion as well as role playing and other creative arts therapies, participants will be able to work through traumatic incidents in the past and gain skills for managing more skillfully in the future.

WHEN:    TBA

WHERE:  29 W. 36th Street, NYC

WHO:   This group is appropriate for women of all ages

COST:  $125*
*a sliding scale will be considered in cases of financial need; no insurance will be accepted for this workshop

Groups provide especially effective contexts for healing, allowing group members to both give and get support.  Through the use of action methods (role playing, mind-body modalities, creative arts activities) in addition to talking, emotional growth is facilitated more quickly and fully than experiences that rely on talk alone.  No previous group experience is necessary.

To apply for a spot in this group, fill out an Availability Survey/Group Application HERE and/or email Susan at susan@therighthelp.com.  A short interview will be held in person or over the phone to determine whether this workshop is right for you.
